Quinta do Lago Resort – The Algarve, Portugal
May 18-23, 2017
Quinta do Lago Resort welcomed The 200 Club to the Algarve Region of Portugal for an incredible week of food, wine, golf, sunshine and especially hospitality for which the area is known. It was the first visit to Quinta do Lago for most in attendance, but is not likely to be the last as the event was a great success. Highlights featured the Opera Buffa group from Lisbon for a surprise performance at our opening dinner at the hotel, as well as terrific restaurant visits to Casa Vehla and Casa do Lago.
Congratulations to Bob Lodge who was elected as Captain for 2017-2018 and many thanks to Bill Butin for his great tenure over the past year. Congratulations also to Willard Soper on some outstanding play in capturing The 200 Club Championship for 2017-2018!!
